I've read in another forum that there may be a drain hole plugged under the hood between the battery and the engine, in the cabin air filter or something
(2007 mustang GT)
It only drips/pours down when I start driving (it's not there when the car's been sitting idle during rainstorms)
I can't find anything they are talking about though...maybe if I posted some pics of the area, some of you might be able to help me find the drain holes

check the firewall and look for any drains...also the easiest thing to do is check where the weather stripping is on your door/roof meeting point...follow it all the way down toward the bottom of the car and see if you see any holes.
you may wanna get a cup of water and pour it down that crease and see if you can notice where the water goes in/out. 9/6/2011 2:15:54 PM |

why dont you post the pics and questions in a mustang or ford specific board like the one you linked. It seems that they have found and solved the problem already and could very easily help you. Im not sure how many Wolfweb folks own this car and have had this problem and fixed it on their own, but i would venture to guess that the answer would be 0.
did you read the pdf on http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/2005-2010-mustang-gt-tech/69270-s197-mustang-tsb-list-5.html#post741068
or this

those were the first google results and seem to be pretty comprehensive. 9/6/2011 2:18:18 PM |

nevermind, we got it
got under the passenger side cowling and removed a bunch of gunk blocking the drainage in the cabin air filter housing
big splash under the car afterward lol 9/6/2011 7:03:32 PM |
