this is a painful truth i've learned after a lot of failures. the funniest part is when you have a confidence overload, all of a sudden your "female friends" want to date you.

in a sense, the "friend zone" doesn't actually exist. a girl is either attracted to you, or isn't.

Sort of. There's a "window of opportunity" when it comes to attraction. The longer you delay, make excuses, try to "take things slow" as to not scare her off, the more like that window is to close.

Guys (and I have done this many times, only to recognize my mistakes later) will typically find a girl that actually is attracted to them, then they do one of two things: take it super slow, or get super clingy. It's completely natural. You don't want to ruin a good thing. The girl is going to get bored or spooked, though.
