I work with a chemist(MIT) and a chemical engineer(Northeastern) who are both performing software engineering jobs. Apparently but loved chemistry but couldn't find jobs.

It's definitely become a computer nerds world hasn't it?

The truth is that a computer programmer will eventually replace all jobs except computer programming. It follows you'll want to get in on the computer programming side.

the only thing i do not like about the programming world is when you graduate, you land that programming/team environment job. You work in one language (most of the time) and you work on one or two products (most of the time). There are so many languages and shit out there that being tied down to one lang/product would drive me crazy.
