I think court reporters have to type approx 120 wpm. And a good secretary should be able to type about 80 to 100 wpm.

not very, but I type much faster when it's all coming from in my head and not transcribing something.

I mean I suppose everyone does, but for me it's a drastic difference. Far fewer errors when I'm coming up with the words myself.

Did it a few times and was around 80ish. A lady saw me typing at work the other day and thought it was crazy how fast I was typing. I don't know if anyone has ever been as impressed about anything I've done in my life as she was at that moment watching me type. I just figured that was about how fast everyone typed? Guess not.

Somewhere between 110-135. Depends on the keyboard and the material. I've gotten up to 120 something on the crazy ass ones on typingtest.com but only after a couple of run-throughs (which might be considered cheating by some )

I didn't really think the punctuation on any of them was bad. Words per minute is supposed to measure how many words you can type while actually writing a legible document as opposed to spamming phrases. It's kind of like sprint-hurdling and someone complaining they could have done better without the hurdles

I can prob get up to like 110-115 on a solid keyboard


so I'll just guess I can type about 90
