the pilot of the new girl had a lot of potential but i dont think it was that good...but thats what happens when you put talent like zooey deschanel(sp?) with a fucking wayans

The Wayans guy is only in the pilot. Different black guy in the actual show because the Wayans guy is in a show on ABC. He auditioned for 2 pilots & was hired at ABC first.

So yeah hopefully the new black guy will be funny :-)

^Actually Damon is on Happy Endings. When they shot the pilot of New Girl, that show was considered dead and gone. Then by some miracle it got renewed, so Damon returned to it. He did remind me a lot of his dad on Major Payne when he was in the gym yelling at the woman.

i accidentally watched the new girl pilot on a plane thursday.

she just uses the monotone voice humor over and over like jonah hill. i hope it gets more creative
