This is the only procedure I have found that eases off my pain due to chronic spasms. The Botox works by paralyzing the muscle and giving me time to do physical therapy and finally get off my fentanyl patches (I'm at 1/4 what I was 1 year ago).
Too people that are like wtf, botox??? In high doses Botox is the only drug that can paralyze a muscle for 4-6 months and give me time to lower my pain meds and increase physical activity and therapy. 9/23/2011 3:15:33 PM

Your life sucks, I would not want to have it.
Your body is in pain because something is broken. You paralyze the nerves so your brain doesn't know it's broken.
But chances are you're going to be moving around like it's not broken and break it even more.
It seems like this is the likely scenario. 9/23/2011 3:56:26 PM
