This would leave South America scrambling to pick up countries. The current countries are mad because Brazil isn't sharing revenues from the world cup and olympics. North America is poised to add Ireland and Iceland and probably another country. Could that be a heavyweight like Brazil? or maybe Argentina who is currently independent but European for culture?

This is all headed in a direction of having 3 super continents once Africa loses its automatic bid.

I don't see why South America wouldn't jsut reload with countries like costa rica and panama. Geographically, it makes sense. North America should just dump Mexico. It doesn't really have the academics to keep up.
