Red bull & vodka. Gives me the cleanest buzz and sets in quickly. Alternatively, jack & coke.

Why don't you people just drink your liquor straight up and stop ruining a good drink?

because sometimes things complement what we're drinking

because we're not pumping alcohol to get drunk

because we're adults and don't have to drink things a certain way to gain the approval of "real men" like you?

that is really your go-to drink?

I mean, there are a lot of drinks I like, especially some that have a fair amount to prep to them, but my go to drink is something I can make in a hurry, make a whole lot of for not too much $$, and I can manage to put together when I have no business even thinking about another drink. That drink to me usually boils down to either a whiskey coke or rum and coke

^x6 Who said anything about getting drunk? Putting words in my mouth I see, cuntface. And you have it backwards. You mix liquor with the intent of getting drunk.

If I drink liquor, I don't drink cheap shit. I buy good shit and drink it straight up and actually enjoy it, instead of trying to dilute it in some shitty soft drink, juice or whatever the hell you people use. The only reason for mixing Jack Daniels with coke is because you can't handle it without something to cut it with.

But I can see you're content with jamming words down my throat because you think I'm referring to taking shots to the face instead of having some Famous Grouse on the rocks.

^^^^ Holy fuck...someone is having a bad day.

That being said:

I don't normally drink liquor. I'm a beer and wine guy. If I'm looking to get toasty, I'll drink cheap, light beer and semi-decent wine. I can drink good scotch or bourbon, but would prefer a good wine or beer instead.

If I'm looking to get toasty with liquor, then it's captain and coke. Or straight shots of liquor.

if i'm drinking at my house or a friend's, and i don't want beer or wine, yes, that's my go-to drink...i always have eggs at my house, as do my friends

i rarely ever drink liquor at a restaurant or bar...the exception is probably a margarita (and i do love me some good margarita)

its sort of for black people in the same way that cranberry vodkas are (not racist, but vodka cranberrys are overwhelmingly ordered by african american individuals in my own personal research), but stoli blueberry + lemonade is amazing.

I don't have one. It used to be (insert fruit) vodka & Sprite, but that is too sweet now. I like vodka/gin & tonic, but not so much that it's what I automatically want to order. Usually it's what I end up with when I try to think of something I'd like more and can't think of anything. I've been trying to solve this issue for a while now with no luck.

Beer/wine always cut it for me.

But if I had to say, I guess I'd go with a good pisco sour, but only with Chilean pisco.
