Got some boxwoods and holly in front of my house I want gone. You come dig them up and throw them in your truck and they're yours. There's five smaller boxwoods and two large holly bushes. You can see them in the left side of this picture, though the boxwoods are a bit bigger than what's shown in the pic.

What are you planning on putting in their place? I've got some boxwoods to rip out but I have no idea what I'm going to replace them with

I'm going to amend the soil and plant some blueberry bushes there.

a variety of things...we had a bed that alternated between irises and boxwoods and we replaced that with a fair number of knock out roses, some salvia, and...i forget (my wife remembers the names; i'm not much of a horticulturist)

i just didn't like the other boxwoods where they were, so i replaced with with japanese aucuba (i love japanese aucuba!) and ligustrom (my house is built on a slope, so plants that grow taller are exactly what i wanted)

Boxwoods are gone. The guy that came to get them said that he wanted the holly but it was too deep in the ground. If someone want the holly, feel free, but it's gonna be a bitch.

Gracias! We're digging it so far but I have to admit the kitchen is going to get demoed in the near future. It's not ergonomically designed at all lol.

And yeah, holly bushes are still here but they are deep deep deep so you'll need some muscle to get them out it looks like.

Possibly. I'd rather see if someone could use them for transplanting first. I feel bad just chucking them because I don't like them

Got someone coming this afternoon for the holly. I may end up offering the bushes to the left of the house as well depending on what I decide to do with my forsythia.

Got more bushes for free. There's about three boxwoods and three bushes that I forget the name of.

It's the bushes to the right of the photo, excluding the two boxwoods closest to the sidewalk. Preferably I'd like them gone by Sunday since we're having plant delivered this weekend. Offering it to tdub before the Craigslist horde.

I was thinking of replacing some out of control nandinas with boxwoods. Can the three boxwoods be seen anywhere in the pic? How big are they?

They're about the same size as the two that are to the right of the sidewalk in that pic. I have someone coming tomorrow morning to dig up what they want. I'll take pics of whatever's left when they're done.

Thanks to synapse, I'm pretty sure I will never have boxwoods.

haha I only planted three so I'm not anticipating them getting too crazy

Alright this is what I have left. I forget the name of these bushes but I took a closeup pic as well so maybe someone else knows what they are.
