Dr. Pepper in general should not be consumed by anyone. Its like someone took a perfectly good soda and pissed in it.

This applies to Cheerwine as well.

that was a horrible commercial and this probably tastes like ass. I like dr. pepper but always sadly disappointed with every diet soda, but then again, I don't drink a lot of soda any more.

The #2 ingredient is HFCS, similar to its non-diet counterpart. I wonder if that adds the missing sweetness and thicker consistency I hear most people complain of. Albeit its not as much HFCS, it mY just be enough to win some fans.

well, here's hoping it doesn't get wildly popular and replace the real diet dr pepper. Based on the performance of Coke C2 and Pepsi Edge, though, diet drinkers probably don't have too much to worry about.

Dr Pepper probably saw that a lot of men aren't drinking diet drinks. They drink things like Coke Zero etc because of the stigma that Diet Drinks are for women. With most of America being fat, they can market something that is basically a diet drink, not call it diet and idiots will buy it

Have tried all three. Can't say that it is any different in taste than regular DP, but now that I am used to diet sodas, I could give a shit about the taste difference. Will continue to drink DDP to avoid the HFCS.

my uncle has a collection of generic "doctor" drinks from chain supermarkets/stores all over the country

he probably has at least 40-50 different types, random shit you've never heard of like dr. wild, dr. jones, dr. green etc.

its a pretty weird collection, but kinda cool at the same time. he's an eccentric dude

Diet Dr Perky from Food Dawg ain't bad. I drink their Caffeine Free Diet Orange Soda all the time, and sometimes get the Diet Dr. Perky too. However its hard to find the Caffeine Free DDP in 2 liters, so I oftern just stick to the Orange.
