My son awoke to a boy (teammember) on top of him fake humping him. There were 7-8 teammates in the room. They all laughed and left. 2 other boys re-entered a locked dorm room and mooned my son. They all laughed and My son again locked the room. They tried to enter a 3rd time, but My son was at the door and it only opened partially, he was able to get the door locked and secured. They then tried again(with my son at the door holding the lock secured.) They were unable to get in. My son was frantic. Apparently the "coach" that was there for supervision is saying he had no idea. But I know that is a lie, because as my son was calling my sister on a cellphone, crying and frantic. The coach entered and left to give my son a few minutes. He claimed that he came back and my son slammed the door in his face. But instead of trying to figure out what happened he and the team went out to the last camp practice. Leaving my son alone and upset. THere is a whole long story of the aftermath. Long story short, we went to the police, and gave a statement. We informed the School and the School board with Written statements of the events. I want someone to help look out for my sons interest. Would having a lawyer help. If so what king of lawyer? I am afraid that nothing is going to happen with this and it is going to go away. I know that the case(?) went to the DA to decide if there is a case. I was told by the school that any actions taken against the boys by the school would not be related to us. I am very frustrated. If anyone has any advice, please help. The incident happened 4 weeks ago today.

to me it sounds like a team building exercise to me

One time at camp some kids tried to duct tape me to my cot but I woke up and the slowest one got they ass beat. Didn't happen again.
