" McDonald's McRib, the BBQ-sauce-drenched sandwich with a cult following, is back -- for a limited time.
The boneless-pork sandwich will be available at the fast food chain's approximately 14,000 U.S. locations through November 14th"

Last year, the McRib came back after some 16 year hiatus due to swine shortages from the last time the McRib ended up on the menu. Apparently the pig population must have boomed in recent years.

Enjoy the meal, McFatties.

"The McRib -- which does not, in fact, contain ribs -- returned from a 16-year hiatus for several weeks in the fall of last year. It's stint on the market lead to a 4.8% U.S. sales increase in November 2010 for McDonald's overall, compared to the same month a year earlier."

It has had regional availability by different franchises.

The McRib is vaguely shaped like a rack of ribs in the same way that people who eat it are vaguely shaped like people.

Fountain dining hall used to have a McRib-esque meat sponge from time to time. The "ribs" were molded in such a way that you could take one, turn another upside-down, and they would interlock perfectly like meat legos.

So that's what I learned in college.

McRibs are goddamn disgusting, filthy pieces of shit. However, McDonalds should be commended for their masterful manipulation of stupid fat fucks everywhere into purchasing their product.

A tip of a cap to you good sirs.

I wonder if they shrink wrap those baby pigs while they are alive. To preserve freshness.

Those aren't baby pigs. They are Ham Pressed into the shape of a baby pig.

this thread makes me feel good about my decision to never buy fake plastic sliced bread ever again and instead get the fresh shit baked the same day from the bakery or made from home in the dayum breadmaker

yeh it's an extra $38 a year or whatever but damn well worth it. bread is like the staple to life bro. and amuricah decided to basically fuck with the ingredients 100% until its unrecognizable.

there's nothing like a 100% fresh homemade loaf.

and don't even get me started on this shitty meat topic. and bojangles. i used to like it a couple times a month. but uugghh. blacklisted forever. cookout was blacklisted last year when i got foodpoisoning all night after eating there.

shitty food and nonstop greasy fast food -> the reason we are full of fatasses here in Merica.

McRib Sauce = sugar water

At least the natural smoke flavor is vegetarian.

I've always thought they were pretty good but I rarely get them when they are around.

Mostly because I don't go to mcdonalds at all.
