armed bank robber on Hillsbourough Street cut through campus. Cops nailed him pretty quick though, 8 cruisers cut him off near Poe.

Armed robbery took place off-campus and the pursuit spilled onto North Campus just outside of Winston and Caldwell Hall. I was in the building and we saw the chase pass us through the window. Guy robbed Wells Fargo and tried to get away. Currently the area between Caldwell and Winston is being processed as a crime scene, but the all clear has gone off.
