If only Palm/HP knew wtf they were doing with it. The UI is definitely the best hands-down.

windows phone 7 is pretty awesome for being an efficient UI. android is the worst. ios is virtually identical to android, though I haven't played with siri. webos and blackberry are both great for communication but both are paired to dogshit devices with shitty app ecosystems

highly depends on what web products you use...if you're a hardcore Google products user, you'll want Android.

if you have Apple computers around the house and want something that ties in with them, you'll want iPhone. Or if you aren't big into customizing your phone and stuff you'll want iPhone.

i wouldn't venture out of those 2 because of lack of apps personally but if you don't use many web services, the latest windows phone is pretty decent.

blackberry has never been an option for me - they're all so bland. but if you're the kind of person that wants more than 1d battery life, go blackberry.

It's a shame that webOS and Windows Phone don't have better development backing... they are the two best, most innovative UI's out there, but webOS is no longer and Windows Phone just can't compete on the application base. Too late in the game.

iPhone and Android are both 'eh' they are both mainstream have huge application bases and personally out of the two, Android (ICS) is by far the better OS. The iOS UI is just more and more dated. Siri can be useful, but it's just voice-recognition, not a UI.

^Since Mango just came out and is the first release of WinPhone7 to support a lot of the API stuff developers have been demanding, I think it's a bit early to say it's too late. WP is revving fast and will take a couple of years to catch up, but so far things are going in the right direction. Just maybe not as fast as anyone would like.

I'll probably switch to Windows Phone around WP8 or WP9, it has a lot of promise but it's not there yet

WebOS was nice but just ran too slow on phones, from what I heard. Maybe someone will resurrect it.

Android has been functionality over interface since the beginning, but ICS looks like it's doing a lot to address that.

lol iOS

flash is still supported, just no future versions for mobile.

ie. possible compatibility issues with future android versions which would mean no updates = no flash

Using iOS on my iPad after switching to WP7 is so annoying.

If WP7 didn't exist, I'd probably be buying a Pre3 off eBay, despite the fact that I'm not enamored with the form factor at all.

webOS is by far the best mobile OS that i've used

iOS is next for ease of use

Android fairly far back on the phone front but maybe 4.0 will help - it's too common to have to remove the battery in my opinion - on the tablet front Android is pathetic

i don't have a ton of experience with WP7 because it's very lacking on the mobile device management front

i think that's more hardware related than Android OS... i've never had to battery pull because of OS lockup and i've had 2 android phones over 2 years.

to be fair, the thunderbolt has a "restart" option right after you press the lock key.

If it diddnt you would be pulling the battery out just like every other android user.

android suffers like winmo and win98 did. no QC to use the software on your hardware. lots of questionable hardware/drivers as well as non-existent app QC

Up until yesterday I had two phones...which was nice because I could always use the opposite one when one was frozen/rebooting.

Also wtf to the Nav app requiring a reboot so much?

Blackberry OS is the best! It's the only true "smart"phone OS out there. Everything else is uncivilized.
