looking to down size my stock piles of fancy car audio ish.
1) Arc audio ks1000.1bx 1000@1ohm (closer to 1300w) 1000@2 ohm 850@4ohm built in epicenter(not bass boost) to enhance lower bass frequencies speaker level input plug is beat up but who uses that anyway? retail is $799. $325 2)Arc audio ks300.2 rev 2 (slightly smaller than rev 1 185x2@4ohms 300x2@2ohms 700x1@4ohms retail $399 $225 $500 for both incredible amps by arc i hate to see them go. they are prefect for a high power stealth install. both are incredibly efficient and clean. i prefer them over jl audio and they are cleaner than alpines pdx amps (not just sayin that to sell )here's a review. http://www.arcaudio.com/productpics/ArcReviews/productreviews/archives/ks3002review.pdf
3) treo engineering ssx400.1 RARE cheater amp will put out closer to 750 watts at 1 ohm.tiny amp for what it does missing only the end caps retail is over $450 asking $175
4) 12" dd subwoofer older series they no longer make has cosmetic damage on the cone, works fine and get LOUD. comes with sealed enclosure rms is around 400w . $50 takes this

I haven't kept up with the trends these days but I find it hard to believe some other topology than A/B (that isn't A) sounds better than A/B. 11/16/2011 7:32:20 AM |

^^ some people spend more time in their car than they do on the wolf web and enjoy quality sound but i see what you did there.
^alpines pdx amps are full range class d not a/b. these are class h same sound quality of a/b with higher efficiency at normal listening volumes. good stuff some of my favorite amps to date. 11/16/2011 4:32:52 PM |
