I tried making a joke about pagers at my church and the youth that were hanging around starting saying things like "Oh, you mean like those things the doctors use! Those look cool." One of them said something along the lines of "yeah, I'd love to have something like that so I didn't have to get my phone out to see texts during school... I wonder if they sell them to the public."

Huge moment. I fear for our future.
