I'm not asking anyone to do anything illegal. I'm just curious to look myself up. I know the nonsense from my past is supposed to be expunged but I wonder about some of the private data bases like 123nc.com and such.
Can anyone help me out? 11/21/2011 12:04:35 PM

Can't you go down to the courthouse and search these records on the court computer? 11/21/2011 12:36:23 PM

In 2005 I had a background check, they found a sub21 alcohol possession charge that was supposed to be expunged from my record after completing a 90-96 program.
Also, be sure to review it thoroughly. That same check had an "admin error" that listed an expired tags ticket as a felony. 11/21/2011 12:51:20 PM

From what I can tell from a botched ticket for running a stop sign the NC court system's record keeping is severely messed up. I paid a lawyer who plead it down to speeding 34MPH in a 25MPH zone. If my lawyer is to believed, these were all errors by the clerk of court...
At first they were going to take my license for "failure to appear". Then they put me down for "guilty" to the original charge of running the stop sign. Then, for some period of time they had me down for "guilty" on both the original stop sign violation and the speeding charge (which never even happened in the first place!)
All in all, I might as well have just paid the ticket and taken the points rather than paying a lawyer to handle it for me. I wish I could sue those fuckers for the insurance hikes I paid as a result of their errors.
