Annoying and gimmicky, but if that's your thing, have fun. The commercials grate on my nerves so much there is no way I could make it through an entire show. The larger-than-life persona keeps me from even considering whether or not she can cook.

when i lived in montreal as a wee lad we lived in st-leonard, which is the italian section of the french speaking side of the island, so her accent could be real
