The underground parking is $100/mo/car, and it's hard to get out of . thank god for working out of the apartment, buses, light rail, and streetcars!

^^ I'm in that neighborhood. I think with trash/water/power/internet/netflix I'm just under $500. But I spend like $65/month on interwebs. VPN on a slow connection sucks balls.

About $1,700 mortgage. Bills range average around $300 I guess??

So I drop about $24,000 a year on mortgage plus utilities. Seems like a lot to me.

$1600 a month for mortgage. utilities gets it up to around $1900 currently

i've got a solar grid tie system with a few kw's at the moment.(thanks obama for continuing bush's tax payer subsidized solar rebates) working on getting more kw's this year so i can power the hot water heating and electrical heating systems. that should eliminate all electricity bills soon.

next year the goal is to get a water pump and purification system in place. 100% water/electric independence and 0 carbon emissions. i am the 1%.

He knows what I pay for the mortgage. Still cheaper and better than signing a lease with an apartment. He has more space, better kitchen, etc living with me. Can leave anytime he wants with no penalty and he has dogs. Overall its a win-win for both of us.

Its a couple. The guy was living with me then asked if he could move in his girlfriend. I'm single and barley use 25% of my house. No reason not to move them in and have them cover most of my mortgage.

Not at all. Pretty much my whole up stairs is a mini apartment. Never in each others way. I've got my own things going to. Charleston has plenty of women to go around.
