I don't see how anyone can put Nickelback anywhere except the very bottom of that list. They are the worst band I have ever heard. I can't see how they have like triple platinum albums.

My mom, bless her heart she's the greatest woman on the face of the earth, laughs every time I make fun of Nickelback. And then tells me "aww, well I don't think they're so bad," and, over the sound of my soul turning to stone and shattering, I almost can't hear her continue with "...I kinda like them."

I mean this is the woman that used to rock out with me when I listened to Metallica, Alice in Chains, Slayer...the woman that loved to hear what I was listening to when I got into death metal. This is the woman that gave me a huge 120-lb box containing the quintessential rock and roll from the '60s, '70s, and early '80s on vinyl.

And she "kinda likes" nickelback.
