What a breath of fresh air after the steaming pile of dump our point guard situation has been since Corchiani graduated. We've had a few bright spots with Justin Gainey and a smattering of good play from Atsur and Bethel....but Brown was like Russel Wilson coming in after the Davis/Stone/Evans/Beck/my grandma disaster.

Let's hope he's just the beginning. I liked what I saw in Lewis this year and Barber is a blur.

My all-time favorite Zo moment - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=226nSC1r8eE

starting at the 1:44 mark. The pass, the dunk and then Zo's reaction is priceless

One of the best PGs we have ever had.

Certainly the best PG in the ACC this year to me. Larkin a close 2nd.

I think he will make a fantastic 2 guard in the NBA.

Man, I'm gonna miss that guy. Hate that he got injured this year. It'll be nice to have him representing us in the NBA. Good luck Zo!

^^ look, I love Zo, but there is absolutely no way I'd put him ahead of Larkin, especially after these past few weeks

I'd say Larkin is a better SG but as far as court vision and running the show Lorenzo is waaaaay better

Blind comparison.

FGM-FGA FG% 3PM-3PA 3P% FTM-FTA FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS
5.1-10.7 .479 1.9-4.7 .406 2.4-3.1 .776 3.8 4.6 0.1 2.0 1.6 2.3 14.5

FGM-FGA FG% 3PM-3PA 3P% FTM-FTA FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS
4.2-10.1 .419 0.6-2.3 .263 3.3-4.2 .771 4.3 7.2 0.6 2.0 2.0 3.5 12.4

They are both pretty damn close.

yeah considering him and Scott are the only real scoring threats on that team.

From a #s perspective they are close, very close.

I don't get the whole press conference thing for just declaring for the draft, but if it gets State on a few radars, I'll take it. Hopefully kids are like, "Gottfried does pressers for his kids declaring, I'm going to State."

We should all thank Zo for sticking around after Lowe left, taking over at PG when Harrow bailed and guiding us back to relevancy.

He's a poor man's Russell Westbrook, if he can improve his jumper he can be a solid starter at the next level.

yes. also a great passer, shitty 3 pt shooter, good at driving and scoring.

but yes, all they have in common is being tall and athletic. despite the fact that brown has 4 inches on rondo.

Sessions isn't a bad comparison. Not perfect but a lot better than Rondo.

Zo has two big flaws - misses too many shots at the rim and doesn't have much of a jump shot. Fix one of those and he'll have a long career.

Tall, athletic, deadly in transition though at times out of control. Solid defender. Not the best shooter though streaky. I get he's not near Westbrook's league right now, but they play similar games.

Would love to see him get drafted by the Spurs as Tony Parkers backup. Would have a great shot to prove himself on the second unit of a good team.
