I waitressed for a bit at an incredibly upscale restaurant and the head chef could get you any drug you wanted. Most of the staff was high at all times.

Most kitchens I've worked in/with were full of alcoholics. My first kitchen job we had a guy on the line who had a heroin addiction, I think in that case everyone was too scared of touching drugs after seeing that guy.
