I don't think it caught on.

Lately they've tried to start calling the area around Krispy Kreme NoJo, because it's north of Jones St. It's funny because whenever I see "NoJo" in print it's followed by "(north of Jones Street)".

Cantina South has pretty good "modern" Mexican food, but it is indeed pricier. It took the former place of Bogarts. That location just seems doomed, perhaps b/c it's not as visible. But I really want it to succeed.

Tip: Cantina South is now on Restaurant.com, so you can get $25 off for $2.

The prices didn't bother me, it had a good atmosphere for upscale mexican. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but I thought the food was borderline terrible.

The fish tacos were inedible, and the "habenero" sauce that they give out with everything could tear paint off a wall. (and I love spicy food)

I second Cantina 18 for good upscale mexican. So much better than cantina south.
