But for real, I know how you feel. A few years ago I had an awesome small group of friends near me who I worked with, traveled with, and hung out with a lot. I'm one who gets along with a lot of people very easily, but I don't make close friends easily and always have a very small group of real, close friends. In the past year and a half, one moved back to Boston and got married, one got laid off and moved to Virginia, one moved to Texas, and one has been working on-site in China for a majority of the past two years. I'm lucky I have an awesome wife and a home to work on or I'd be bored out of my mind most the time.
