When is the time/event/season not to wear them?

Is there an age limit (when not on a boat or playing cornhole)?

Discuss all things Sperry here.

I dont own a pair. Too pedestrian for me.

this was spurred from a facebook christmas card picture of my cousin with his girlfriend. nice button down, tie, slacks... sperrys

They pretty much go with just about anything that is casual. Or with anything that you wear on a boat (depending on which pair of sperrys your wearing).

Same goes with rainbows...

I've had a pair for years, they still look good (had to replace the insoles a few times).

I like them a lot, screw the haters.

But if I wear them to work I do wear beige socks with them. I go no-sock any other time though. I also don't really wear them in the winter.

Not a fan.
Not in the club.
Don't care for them stylistically.
Will probably buy some when I'm like 46 though so people know that I'm into boating and think I'm cool.

I haven't worn my leather pair in probably 3 years.

I do wear my canvas pair a lot in the summer though.

^^OMGAH! YOU TOO?!?!

Haha jk...you're probably the only one who first thought it was some random piece of some sort of machinary...

But then again at the same time you probably thought of the shoes too, and then you thought of that thing, whatever it is...but acted like you first thought of that to be different...good job!

Also, while I get the 'too fratty' opinion at the same time I kinda don't.

Now if you're going for the khaki pants...then yes sperrys would be appropriate to wear for a wedding...

I would say that your "casual" wedding is not the same as a Carteret County "casual" wedding...Sperrys might not be the best move...

Since moving back down here I've found that pretty much everything, even the dress up moments, are fairly casual. Wearing Sperrys is pretty much accepted anywhere you go.

Any time you are not on a boat.

Obviously techno/rave kids don't like Sperrys.

I don't see anything wrong with them, I just don't like them that much personally. I don't think they're that comfortable.
