Troy and Abed is fun, but seems a bit contrived -- I can't see a pairing like that working so well in real life, it stretches credulity. Shawn and Gus are more realistic, but they're also kind of antagonistic and one-sided in that Shawn usually calls the shots. I hate to say it, but JD and Turk may be my favorite just because they're so hopelessly pathetic and codependent that I could see it happening in real life. (Also, it very nearly drops the "b" in "bromance," which I assume is a qualifier)

This post makes it sound like I watch a lot more TV than I really do. I like Psych, I've seen some Community, and Scrubs comes on pretty much every hour of the day between various syndications so one can't help but to have seen it. That's all I can say in my defense.

The amazing thing about the Shawn and Gus bromance is that it's there from the very first episode. There's no "it's a pilot, so everything is a little weird" thing going on. They seem like they've legit been best friends forever.
