Lately I've noticed a strange, rhythmic, constantly repeating sound whenever I watch the AMC channel (right now I'm watching The Outlaw Josey Wales and it is occurring). It sounds a lot like one of those old hand-held games from the 80's. I'm pretty desperate for someone to say they hear it too, so I don't feel so insane, but more importantly for an explanation.

I found this forum where people talk about it:

http://www.hackettstownlife.com/forum/333021

It can be heard very faintly in this youtube video at 0:02 and 0:07:

http://youtu.be/xh9E8QPowSQ

And it's much more obvious in this clip at 0:11, 0:16:

Anyway, I'm hoping to garner the attention of my fellow paranoids and conspiracy theorists. Also, inb4 Ancient Aliens macro.

sounds like digital noise. Or maybe they're testing that new ad system that picks up sounds via your phone

interesting, it's probably some sort of interference on the same frequency as TV broadcasts

unrelated, but I just found this when I thought that my late delivery from Amazon was finally herehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hum - I think it's just traffic noise in the distance

I think it means you're supposed to press that button so the projector goes to the next slide.
