various sites are resolving correctly (i can ping them) but http requests aren't getting through.
Seems to be affecting all devices on my router.
I've reset everything.
Tried Google's DNS servers.
pings work, traceroutes work, but browsers/curls just sit there doing nothing.
so far, i can't pull up facebook.com cnet.com twitter.com arstechnica.com

The problem is using TWC. Too bad they essentially run a monopoly and you can't really avoid it. 12/24/2011 11:19:45 AM |

Had this issue Thursday night. Reset everything and went to bed without checking it. Friday morning, everything was good, and has been since.
This wasn't helpful, I shouldn't hit post reply... 12/24/2011 12:20:08 PM |

Yeah it fixed itself.
it's weird that pings and traceroutes worked, but http traffic didn't. 12/24/2011 12:50:05 PM |

happens once a month to me and usually 90% of the time at off peak hours, but usually when I'm awake and in a middle of an intense fire fight. Funny thing is that team speak and steam works, but website access and game disconnects. 12/24/2011 2:54:47 PM |
