Man, I stay for 30-36 hours here and there, but 72 hours is a LONGGGGG time without sleep.

haha - i watch for about 10 minutes last night just after midnight. Dude straight dozed off, everybody called him on it, and he was like "WHAT MOTHER#@)$*( SAID I WAS ASLEEP - I WAS JUST RUBBING MY EYES... FOR LIKE 7 MINUTES.)

72 hours is pretty epic though. I've done starcraft up towards 48 hours during a snowstorm at a friends house (back when we multiplayer over a serial cable!). I can't imagine 72.

Nah its not sad man, its just people playing game - some in their spare times, some have no other life, some full time to make money, some just for fun ... its all kinds of people that do this.

I don't buy that its his first time. I watched for a few minutes out of curiosity and he got to a point where he started grinding a very specific spot of the game for health pots or something by finishing the enemies, leaving the area, and coming right back for them to respawn. Then it got absurdly boring, because the only thing more boring in a video game than grinding is watching someone else do it.
