Got a Driving Force GT for Christmas and can't fucking figure out how to turn off the force feedback. Flame me if you want but I need help and thought that Chit Chat would get more traffic than Tech Talk.

If I unplug it then the gas pedal works but not the steering. I don't wanna read 14 pgs of Gran Turismo thread to find the answer

that's odd. unplugging is the standard thing you do to turn off force feedback, plus it's mentioned as the solution in those lmgtfy links

don't turn off the force feedback; just find a sturdy table to clamp the steering wheel to.
