The news lady made me smile by suggesting the driver may have broken his leg if he jumped off the roof. Very good chance that this guy was not injured in the accident...LOLOLOLOLOL That's funny to me.

I'm pretty sure he could have driven it off.
Now most people would put it in reverse and gingerly ease it back until it started to drop, but for maximum spectacle I'd recommend putting it in drive and flooring it instead. Shingles should have pretty good grip, so I'd expect this to end well.
