They're always trying to convince others that their eating habits are bad.

Interesting photography though.

I didn't realize that vegetarians and vegans were working as a group to convince others that their eating habits are bad.

You don't see meat eaters magnifying soy burgers 4x and talking about how gross they are.

Well, eating meat generally is bad pretty much any way you look at it. Except for taste. You look at it that way, and it's the best thing on the planet.

It's at least fair from a nutrition perspective.

I was vegetarian for a while and not once did I tell anyone they were wrong for eating meat. On the other hand, I can't even count how many people tried to convince me I was wrong.

^^^ wat? Perhaps you should clarify that eating processed meat or the wrong kind of meat can be problematic. Have fun gaining lean muscle mass without eating meat protein...

I'd like to see more compelling documentation to support that rather than a wiki footnote.

Yeah I can't find that study, but I'm inclined to agree, given all the vegetarian athletes out there.

Meat protein is considered a "complete" protein because it contains all the essential amino acids for cellular reproduction (or building muscle, if you will). The only vegetable that can claim the same rights is the soybean. However you can combine rice and beans to make a complete protein, while avoiding the saturated fat often accompanying animal protein...
