went today and saw isner beat mitchell - the young kid played well but was just outmatched - the locals got behind him thought which was fun

after that watched niculescu beat cornet and it was quite long for a women's match i thought - tons of hard fought points

oh well maria is def getting back at least, even if she's not quite there yet, I like caroline but it's also real good for the game to get her out of number one, also the nadal/fed isn't even really a rivalry right now

unbelievable game - walk home in the rain sucked a bit but could have been worse

the crowd was definitely more on the side of nadal but djokovic had his share of fans as well - took a ton of pics and if it wasn't 2:30am i'd post them

god damn was that 6 hours? if anyone likes to doubt tennis' players physical toughness or whatever they def make up for it in endurance especially when its 90-100 degrees on the court, anyway I thought this was a huge match for rafa either way and he lost so it looks like novak could displace him now as the clear dominant player in tennis for a while now, with fed still a factor it could be hard for him to get a bunch more grand slams

I also wonder what makes novak match up with rafa so much better than fed, is it the backhand?

could displace him?

What was this...the 7th final Djokovic has beaten Nadal in (in their last 7 matches)? Djokovic dominated last year
(1 major short of a single-season Grand Slam) and is showing no signs of slowing down. Nadal has been displaced for a while now.
