Sorry, you have to take Facebook to court to get access to a deceased loved one's FB account because of privacy policies.

Officially, they memorialize the page by taking it out of circulation, but leaving the wall open for confirmed friends to leave notes. By taking it out of circulation, they disallow log in attempts to the account and stop it from coming up in suggestions etc.

Duchess's account must not be "memorialized."

I think this happened to my friend's page. I was about to say, you can't access it unless that family member knew the login info. His page I believe is now memorialized because folks are constantly writing on his page. I hope it never gets removed b/c he has a ton of pics I want to save. Gahhh.....I miss him.

The driver was my sister's best friend at one point so I knew Danielle a little. Sad situation.

I am kinda sad that they removed folks from the page. I look at our photos at times.

How about I'm sitting here going thru old stuff and purging...I just came across her funeral program That was just a sad moment.

Just read all the articles. It's really sad how all that happened. According to the Jamestown article, it says another HS friend served the driver Danielle (knowing she was underage) a whoppin' 10 shots at another bar. I wonder who this friend was. I don't know of anyone from my HS that was a bartender in Fayetteville. Either way, two people were in the wrong.....and it's really sad an innocent person passed (and so tragic at that....I mean a camera falling on the car!?!). I remember when she used to post on here.
