I don't get it. I get something that might be heartburn occasionally but I can't tell (I'm talking like maybe twice a year).

I'm not 100% sure what heartburn feels like so I don't know.

I've got acid reflux and used to take nexium, then after a few flare ups switched to dexilant (formerly kapidex)...both of those require a prescription. I've been fine for a while, other than occasional mild heartburn. I just take 1-2 Prilosec OTC per day now and try to avoid overly spicy food and take my time when eating...oregano is another thing that really causes heartburn for me.

I have been getting it more often lately. I haven't paid too much attention to what triggers it, but I think cheese or greasy foods. Thankfully not spicy foods. I would die.

Gaviscon cherry tablets are a miracle drug. It has some sort of algae in it that forms a barrier in your stomach to keep everything down. I would die without them right now.

I used to make fun of my friends for getting it. They couldn't start tailgating without their pills. Karma kicked in, now I get it big time and it is the worst things ever.

^^^ Yeah I don't drink a lot of milk (except with cereal), but if I've got a little heartburn I'll drink a glass of milk.

Oregano triggers it in me more than just hot/spicy foods. I used to get oregano on my subway sandwiches and stuff like that, obviously I no longer do that...I still try to avoid overly spicy foods, but they usually don't cause me a lot of trouble.

Heartburn is one of the reasons I've stopped going to Arby's so much. You can say whatever you want about them, but I love their roast beef sandwiches. But between their high prices (for fast food) and the heartburn, I don't go anymore

i woke up 3 times last night with my throat searing in pain. almost threw up. plus my legs kept falling asleep & my right calf cramped up so bad i couldn't move at one point. MISERABLE night
