Chocolate Festival?

Quote :
"Satisfy your sweet tooth while supporting breast cancer awareness at the Women's Center's annual Chocalate Festival. 2009 was the sixth annual Chocolate Festival and it raised $7,600, twice the amount as the year before. 800 people attended the Festival in 2009 and more than 25% of the proceeds went to the Kay Yow/WCBA cancer fund. Visitors to the festival can enjoy lots of chocalate treats, a silent auction, and tips on early detection of breast cancer. The event occurrs every year in October and fills up quickly, so get your tickets and help eradicate a horrible disease."

Damn it was even going on while I was a student and I still haven't heard of it

Also, saying Howling Cow reminds me of the Rural Juror.

List is dogshit. They forgot all the fun stuff like going to at least one class drunk, masturbating in a computer lab, and wandering the c-stores blazed out of your mind.

I accomplished 51 items on that list.

The things I missed:

19. study abroad
43. alternative service break
48. polar bear plunge

I bought a class ring but I didn't know "letting it sleep in the bell tower" was a thing, so I guess I missed 3 and a half?

I don't know if they've always done it but I know that now they put all the rings in the bottom of the belltower the night before they have the ring ceremony.

I didn't go to the ring ceremony, just had it delivered. Did it "sleep" with the others without my knowledge?

Kay Yow was still alive and Cookout wasn't built yet when I went to State, so some of those weren't really possible.

36.5. Counting the "buy a class ring and let it sleep in the Bell Tower" as half credit. I bought a class ring, but that tradition had not yet started when I was a student. You bought a ring, and later, picked it up at the bookstore. No ring ceremony, no Bell Tower nap.

More people have had Howling Cow ice cream (675) than read the Technician (664) and only 647 have been to class?

I had 21 (but haven't graduated yet)

6. Throw a snowball in the Court of North Carolina.
37. See the Bell Tower lit RED.

Depending on the years you were there you may not have even had an opportunity to do either of these.

35.

36 if you count getting a class ring, because that was before the whole 'sleeping in the belltower' thing.

^^I assume it means a sports victory, hence depending on the years you were there you may not have even had an opportunity to see it.

Maybe they light it with red lights for other stuff. Don't know.

They didn't do it until Marye Anne Fox took over. She brought the tradition from Texas or something.
