Jeffrey Dahlmer was the "best" one. Dude straight up kept people in his fridge eating them when he got the munchies for weeks.

They scare the crap out of me. Anything that scares me must be researched and marveled over.

Nah not really. More fascinated by people who are totally non sick and twisted individuals but still find themselves killing hundreds

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Ferebee <- Bombardier of the Enola Gay
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Severloh <- German soldier who killed hundreds of American soldiers on Omaha Beach with a machine gun.

Pedro Lopez (The Monster of the Andes) killed more people than Gacy & Dahmer put together. Oh, and he was released from custody multiple times (once by Ecuador and again by Colombia)

Ed Gein is my favorite, although he dug up more people than he killed. Still a very sick dude. Silence of the lambs, Texas chainsaw massacre, & psycho were all based of him

Severloh's stories are widely disputed.

I have two books about them (both coffee table books) and one DVD about serial killers(over 40 hours yall)

OH OH OH...now that I have other people to talk SKs with, maybe yall can help me remember this SK.

From a chat grimx and I had one day:

Quote :
"me: I saw this show about a serial killer from Japan that became cannibalistic but somehow served his time and got out of jail and became a Japanese porn star"

Can't remember his name.

I'm also interested in women who "snap" and kill their husbands/children/mothers etc

So naturally I watch "Snapped" on Oxygen

I also read true crime books. M. William Phelps is my favorite true crime author.

Just heard a podcast about H.H. Holmes so I thought I'd read through The Devil in the White City.

It's interesting how manipulative these guys can be. It's such powerful tool to wield.

I was reminded of him with the recent blind melon post. The song "skinned" is about him.

Albert Fish was quite deranged too.

Wouldn't want to be on the bad side of that guy...saw a documentary about him, he would kill people for no reason really. Killed a mother, raped her baby, and then killed it because she had the baby with a black guy and he didn't support interracial relationships

If you can find this on Netflix, it's pretty good. It's over 40 hours of serial killers.

I found it on clearance at Best Buy for like $5.00 and bought it. Still not all the way done with it.

Quote :
"On September 2, 1982, Gaskins committed another murder, for which he earned the title of the "Meanest Man in America". While incarcerated in the high security block at the South Carolina Correctional Institution, Gaskins killed a death row inmate named Rudolph Tyner, who earned his sentence for killing an elderly couple named Bill and Myrtle Moon during a bungled armed robbery on the store they owned in the Burgess community.

Gaskins was hired to commit this murder by Tony Cimo, son of Myrtle Moon. Gaskins initially made several unsuccessful attempts to kill Tyner by lacing his food and drink with poison before he opted to use explosives to kill him. To accomplish this, Gaskins rigged a device similar to a portable radio in Tyner's death row cell and told Tyner this would allow them to communicate between cells.[12] When Tyner followed Gaskins' instructions to hold a speaker (laden with C-4 plastic explosive, unbeknownst to him) to his ear at an agreed time, Gaskins detonated the explosives in his cell and killed him.[11] Gaskins later said, "The last thing he [Tyner] heard was me laughing.""

That's stone cold. How the hell do you get C4 into a max security prison? Up the butt?

^I don't understand why that would earn him the nickname "The Meanest Man in America" or why you think it's "stone cold". He murdered someone who murdered someone during a botched robbery. I can think of much meaner things to do.

I adore serial killers.

I loved the show "Most Evil" and really miss it now that I no longer have cable. My default on Netflix is true crime shows and documentaries. I'm really interested in the driving forces behind such behavior. I'm also really interested in women who kill and torture killers.
