Haha, last time i was there the fire alarm went off and the place was packed. The intercom recording was like "Attention shoppers, a fire emergency has been reported. Please leave the store while this is being verified"... I assumed people would just walk out with their shit, but much to my surprise they left their carts behind. I went out the garden center and there were still people chillin in the checkout line, lady still ringing people up. Well the fire wasn't there yet so why not right? I hadn't found my canning lids yet so we just went down the street to the K-Mart and looked for plumes of smoke in that direction.

The worst shopping carts ever were at the old Sam's Club (Harrison Ave)

The wheels would get stuck, wouldn't turn certain directions and the carts were dirty. And the wheels would squeak.

When they moved to the new location in Morrisville, they got new carts. It was like Christmas morning walking up and seeing them all lined up and waiting

They had only one cashier and a line that crossed the whole damn store, with people buying carts FULL of groceries. We were there getting batteries for a fucking smoke detector.

Yeah I do hate that. But they are usually good about having some random person open up a register for 15 minutes to speed things up, at least in most of my instances. but i have had that happen before(i had a bottle of wine, line was outrageous)

Seent a girl there the other day, had that weird skin condition where you're black but have white splotches everywhere, she's at least 350 pounds, and she has a cyst on her neck the size of a fucking softball. I lived in Raleigh 10 years and then moved back. I was very upset at how sketchy the Walmart has become. Growing up here, it was redneck central. Now, it's overrun by hoodrats.
