my gf fell and cut her eye open and i thought she would be fine just letting it close on its own overnight.. ended up needing stitches and broke her orbital bone.. so depending on where it is you might wanna get it looked at

Either get it stitched up quick or let it go. I got a cut above my eye playing basketball, went home and bandaged it and went to sleep. The next morning it was still bleeding. Went to the doc and they wouldn't stitch it since it had started closing up a little from the inside. I've been told if you get stitches, it needs to be in the first 2-3 hours or so or it won't heal right.

I had to superglue my thumb shut a few times a day for three or four days one time before it finally stayed closed. It helps if you have a friend who can apply the glue while you hold the wound shut.

A nurse told me you have 24 hours or less last summer. Probably depends a lot on how bad the cut is though.

duct tape dude. my grandfather cut his hand off with a table saw back in the day...it was hanging by a thread. he duct taped that shit together and had his assistant drive him to the ER.

The duct tape held his hand on until he got to the ER, which is most likely where settledown should go if his injury is that bad. Of course men were tougher back in the day, ole gramps took out a german machine gun back in WWII

Well I'm sure if he is able to sit around and post on the internet, he has the bleeding under control. It just won't stop. If he is able to do this, he is most likely able to get to the ER without the bleeding being an issue. So, once again, your post solved nothing. Now, if he had posted "I am bleeding and I don't have any medical supplies! What do I do?!?!" Then you would have been a great help.
