I had a 6 pack saturday night, and got a pretty good buzz off of it. As far as the taste, i was disappointed and found it difficult to actually drink and enjoy. I'd rather just spend the same amount of money on a 6 pack of CPA.

If i'm going to drink cheap beer, Im probably doing so in order to drink a shit load of them. 6% abv Bud Light is just a horrible idea.

smelled funky to me and it had a little more flavor (though I don't like the flavor of buds so that didn't help me) than what I recall in a bud light...but it has been years since I have had a bud light so who knows

It's just not my style at all. However, I was offered one at somebody else's place and it was all they had on hand leftover from a previous party.

^Probably because it has fewer calories than other beers in the same ABV range is all. That would be my guess. I have no idea what the nutrition facts are on platinum.

heavier beer/malt liquor can give you a headache, for sure. i drank 2 of those "natty daddies" the other night, was decently tipsy but woke up the next day with a headache from HELL!

In comparison to Bud Light, it is a little bit smoother and a little sweeter than the original. Not a huge difference.

If you want to try it, Rite Aid has 12pks for $11.99.

Budweiser - 146cal
Bud Light - 110cal
Platinum - 136cal
