Can someone please explain to me why Jackson was portrayed as an innocent death in every news story I could find at the time. However Houston is getting her drug history brought up on day one in the news on liberal and conservative news. They are both very similar in their age and how their career was at the time of their death vs the peak of their careers.

Here is my thing, Jackson can have an entire Walgreens in his bedroom with a private dirty doctor to put him to sleep on what you would receive for major surgery, nightly... Houston dies with no evidence of anything, yet we hear about her reoccurring drug habit instantly.

Nobody would come out after Jackson died and called him what he was, a drug addict. We don't even know what happened to Houston yet, but the news is throwing the drug thing out at the start.

What the fuck am I missing here?
