Duke beat Kansas because Tyshawn Taylor had 11 turnovers, and Kansas got no offense from the outside so they could focus their whole defense on Thomas Robinson. Kansas was also still figuring life out without the Morris twins, etc.

What's cool about these games is there is nothing to lose. I think we will beat either duke or UNC. I am saying that our fans will be happy after the next 3 games.

Duke lives off points inside the arc. I doubt they get those against us.

They don't shoot threes at all. That's our main weakness defensively.

Defensively they are horrid.

They are hopelessly short and have zero depth.

I like NC State vs the spread. This has all the makings of a 30+ point game that might only be a 15 point spread.

We've been handled twice on our homecourt by double digits. We blew a double digit lead with like 5 minutes left in one game. And we lost on a neutral court to a likely non tournament team by 7.

If it wasn't for a miracle win over Texas when their best player fouled out on a technical foul and a nailbiter win over a bad Princeton team we'd be having a horrible season.

So it's not inaccurate at all to say this season has gotten away from us.

We're not even close to being on the bubble right now, and the NIT even looks unlikely at the moment.

Can we improve? Sure. Does it look likely? No.

Let's keep these discussions limited to reality okay.

Here's my prediction for the game. We come out and play a pretty decent 1st half, and end up leading Duke at the break 38-35. In the second half we have a stretch where they can't miss, the refs fuck us on obvious plays such as a kick ball that leads to a huge dunk that fires up the Crazies even more, and a minute or two later Scott Wood gets called for an intentional foul. A three point lead at half-time turns into us getting beat by 16 points. Why do I predict this, b/c it seems this is the way it always goes at Cameron.

I wonder if duke will be able to convert the wide open 3's we give them into baskets?

We can't even guard the perimeter against normal teams, duke actually runs an offense designed to produce open 3's.

This one will be ugly . Even if we're tied at half we'll still lose by double digits in all likelihood.
