I'm excited about the Royals. I think they have a pretty good shot at finishing above .500 and maybe even winning that unimpressive division if the Tigers have any injury issues. There's a lot of good, young offense. If they can manage a middle of the pack team ERA they'll be ok.

Quote : | "Braun didn't argue evidence of tampering, didn't argue anything about science being wrong but argued protocol had not been followed. A second source confirmed to ESPN investigative reporter Mark Fainaru-Wada that Braun did not dispute the science but rather questioned chain of custody/collection procedure.
According to one of the sources, the collector, after getting Braun's sample, was supposed to take the sample to FedEx/Kinkos for shipping but thought it was closed because it was late on a Saturday. As has occurred in some other instances, the collector took the sample home and kept it refrigerated. Policy states that the sample is supposed to get to FedEx as soon as possible.
Braun's initial T/E ratio was more than 20:1. And sources previously confirmed synthetic testosterone in his system. Source says MLB is livid and is considering options and other comment." |

its common knowledge that Keith Hernandez is a fan of the penis, whether your sources be candid former MLB players or random acquaintances/older friends who grew up in the tri-state who had people tell them 3rd party stories of "yeah my buddy slept with Keith Hernandez" "oh really, you know some girl who slept with Keith Hernandez" "no, it was a dude"
hey before i jumped on the Minnesota bandwagon back in 87 my staying-up-late to watch baseball experience was the Mets/Bosox series the year before, Gary Carter is one of my favorite players just based on who was doing what when I got exposure to televised professional baseball, so I have nothing against the Mets

if i wouldnt have had a personal friend who is 35 and originally from NY and a Mets fan tell me that story, I wouldn't have ever suspected (minus the tell-tale stache), but this sounds pretty convincing too...and maybe he's bi, but thats still kinda gay
http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/mets/2006/04/hernandez-takes-the-heat.html
Quote : | "Everyone knows that Keith Hernandez is gay. Wade Boggs, in his book, said it was widely known in the 1986 World Series, among players, that Hernandez was gay. Boggs, (in a sign of his own ignorance) said he could not play on the same team as Hernandez. So it stuns me, that a gay guy, like Hernandez, would be intolerant of anyone. C'mon Keith. Time to open those closet doors!" |

The Braun overturning is a zionist conspiracy. Him and the sneaky jew baseball arbitrator Shyam Das are in cohoots because their people have already suffered enough during the holocaust. No gentile, black white latino or azn, would get the same treatment. 2/24/2012 9:28:10 AM |

You guys are silly. My man put it best:
Quote : | "Braun did not challenge the science because the arbitration panel will/has never sided with a player using that defense…doing so would invalidate MLB’s drug-testing program.
He chose his defense because, legally, it gave him the best chance of winning. The approach he took was tactical. Challenging the science- instead of procedures- would have been a sure loss; MLB does not allow you to question their science." |

speaking as an orioles fan, i think it's much more of a shame that morneau may have to retire. i don't remember if he went out of his way to take out the 2B or SS when he slid during that double play in 2010, but roberts' situation could've easily been avoided by not fucking diving head first into 1B. it really won't get you to the base any faster than running straight through, and all you're really doing is risking injury in the process, either by a concussion, getting your hand/arm broken, etc. it boggles my mind that major league baseball players don't realize this, and too often players are rewarded for it by gaining worthless reputations for being "gritty," "scrappy," or just getting their uniform dirty.3/4/2012 2:36:09 PM |
