He has two years of eligibility remaining, and if he enters a graduate program that is not offered at Maryland, he could be eligible to play next season."

* Can't transfer to another ACC school. Makes sense.
* Can't transfer to a team on Maryland's schedule. Makes sense.

I don't get the last one. Can't transfer to a team that has a former Maryland coach. So what? At that point it sounds like he's just fighting to make sure they don't transfer anywhere. Let's say the guy gets his wish - they can't transfer anywhere. I'm sure he's going to get 100% out of those guys in the upcoming season. It's a lose/lose fight on his part.
