So apparently I'm the outlier but growing up It was rare around where I was to see anything but pork hotdogs so I'm still shocked and confused at the prevalence of beef hotdogs.

I find red hot dogs vaguely alarming. Doesn't mean I won't eat them, but it definitely gives me pause.

I prefer all beef, particularly Nathan's or Sabrett.

Doesn't seem like they could ever get the texture quite right with a veggie dog. And the amount of processing that goes into fake meat products you're probably better off just eating a chicken and calling it the day
