I don't have a problem with them. I'd rather have a smoosh face (w/ the exception of a sharpei) than a long skinny nosed dog (ie: doberman, weimereiner, etc...)

I know some folks that prefer them, and relate it to a sense that they seem more innocent/helpless, which I can kinda see in their behavior, i guess... I just see them as snorters

I think pugs are pretty cool. I love english bulldogs as well. My sister has a bad-ass one.

Are French bulldogs smush faced? If so, I like those too.

haha they are all goofy little things IMO. After having a larger dog (~70 lbs), I truly think I could do a small dog next. I'd make my decision based on health risks of breed and what was available at the shelters and rescues. I'd more than likely go through a rescue though because I could find a dog that is a better fit for us, and it would still be helping out a dog in need.

I'm on board with smooshed dogs, mainly because of how ridiculous they look. And how they are clearly ill-suited to survive in the real world.

Also I'm pretty sure that most of them have to be born vie c-sections because their heads are too big haha.
