I was tilling my planter box this morning and these two little guys come crawling out from under the leaves. Anybody want them? I don't know what to do with them.

The parental rabbit may come back, if not they may be old enough to fend for themselves, I would watch them for a few days, they will be hard to take in as pets unless someone has an outdoor hutch with lots of room to run.

well if you want to figure out what to do today then call the SPCA and ask them what you should do, it is unlikely you will find someone in a few hours time to take in 2 wild rabbits.

[Edited on March 10, 2012 at 10:41 AM. Reason : you could always try to make a small shelter for them if you are worried.]

i think i might have injured one of them with the rake. they're so scared and so alone. they just want to be warm again and to see their mommy

quite anthropomorphising them and get a big box and throw some carrots in there or call someone, no big deal.

the truth comes out. i'm not as tuff as my internet persona makes me out to be. i have a soft side for abandoned, scared, possibly injured animals.

if that makes me ~ then guilty as charged

seriously tho, I have had rabbits, they are not the brightest.... just lead them into a large box with newspapers and carrots, they will be happy until mom returns/they can probably manage without parents, they don't look that young

put them in a box with a stick in it. poke a few holes in the top so they can breathe.

I'll take that one as long as he keeps burying his head in corners and doesn't bother me otherwise

I would hate to work at the wildlife center during the beginning of spring, every call every minute about some baby animal someone found

"omg i found some baby fish in the pond without their mommies i better call the wildlife center"
