There is a certain night that Bojangles has a buffet type thing, at least they used to....we used to go after cheerleading practice. things could have changed though because that was several years ago...womp womp getting old.

I went to a KFC once in Emporia, we were the only white people there, and probably the only white people there for the week. Two little black kids started making a lot of loud "whitey" comments. I think it was in relation to bird shit but then again they were 6-9 years old. The food was 'meh'.

Not a fan. Stems back from the time of the time dweedle and I went to KFC after the Boston College game in the fall of 06. I wanted our customary Cookout but he insisted on going someplace nicer, his logic being that we deserved it after such a big win. I couldn't argue with that, so KFC it was. As soon as we arrived, we were treated like dirt. The maitre d was very condescending, and I think that he felt threatened by our presence. After a ten minute wait, we were shown to a cramped table between a black couple and a offensive line sized quintet of Merideth dykes. I ordered a chocolate milk; he, as is custom, a Shirley Temple. They took a while to arrive during which we were equally annoyed by The O.C." chatter on one side and "I know thats right" on the other.

Dweedle mentioned that it was odd for a black couple to be such big fans of that show, since it featured virtually no African American screen presence whatsoever. I agreed. When our drinks arrived, we decided to go ahead and order, since we were hoping to catch a movie later that night. I opted for the eight piece bucket, and Dweedle ordered...a cheeseburger? I looked at him like he was crazy. "Uhh," the waitress stuttered. "We don't serve cheeseburgers." A shit eating grin slowly spread across Dweedle's face. "Gotcha!" he exclaimed, and all three of us had a good laugh. Classic Dweedle. He ended up getting the eight piece bucket as well.
