Bunch of ridiculousness in this thread.

Some of you apparently have set your expectations of fast food a little high.

Its fucking fast food. Its boring food quick.

What else do you expect from fucking McDonalds, or BK, or Taco Bell?

They aren't fucking full serve gourmet restaurants. You act like they should be serving some god damn 5 star hamburgers or something.

Not saying the food is great, but its acceptable for what it is.

Sure, there might be some local fast food places that are the exception, but as far as the major chains go they are basically all the same.


The reason they are successful isn't really because of the food, its because of consistency and knowing what you are getting. One of my marketing professors went more into depth about this in class one day.

If I roll of the interstate or something and am hungry, I'm not going to take a risk on some local place that I have no clue if it sucks or not. I'm gonna hit up a McDonalds or a BK because I know exactly what I'm going to good and how much it's gonna cost me.

In the grand scheme of things, they all suck. But they don't really suck if you understand they do and just accept them for what they are.

The only place I'll refuse to go is BK. I've given it plenty of "second chances" and it just seems to get worse every time.

I don't necessarily hate Jimmy Johns, but I do refuse to pay for cold, plain sandwiches. If I wanted one, I would have just made one myself at home. If I go to a sub sandwich place, I always order hot sandwiches which JJs doesn't do
