the one time I was there we went to go see Superbad in a theater

ticket dude refused to let me in because he thought I was using a fake ID

I was 21 at the time and have always looked about 5 years older than I am

luckily his manager was close enough by to hear the commotion

long story short, that place sucks

If I were a trucker at a truck rodeo in georgia, and was to take a bet to pick up an illegal load of 400 cases of coors beer and bring it back to Georgia, i reckon texarkana would be where I stopped for the beer.

Texarkana featured prominently in "A Canticle for Liebowitz." So did a dead Jewish Catholic nuclear scientist monk. Coincidence? Yes.

Jerry Reed also mentioned Texarkana in his hit song, "East Bound and Down."

"The boys are thirsty in Atlanta
And there's beer in Texarkana
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes."

I should really read previous replies... Oh well.
